SIU Foundation Tedrick Welcome Center

Funded by the SIU Foundation, the new 44,000-square-foot, two-story, state-of-the-art facility serves as the front door for the university welcoming prospective student visits, donor engagement, alumni activities, and campus and community events for decades to come.

The Tedrick Welcome Center features a visitor center designed to host conferences, lectures, seminars, and catered events for up to 300 guests, as well as a dedicated philanthropy center that now serves as the home of the SIU Foundation. Designed with sustainability in mind, the facility incorporates geothermal heating and cooling along with other energy-efficient systems to support long-term environmental stewardship.
