IMPACT Strategies, Inc., has officially broken ground on Hollywood River Studios, a new film and television production campus in Wood River, Illinois. The development is expected to bring significant economic investment, jobs and new opportunities to the Metro East.

The groundbreaking ceremony was held October 5 at the former Envirotech Business Park, with Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, Wood River Mayor Tom Stalcup, Hollywood River Studios leadership, local officials and project partners in attendance.

Hollywood River Studios will feature six state-of-the-art sound stages designed to accommodate a variety of film and television productions. The development is expected to create hundreds of permanent jobs, along with additional temporary employment opportunities associated with individual productions.

IMPACT Strategies is proud to serve as a construction manager on the project and help bring this unique development to life.

“This is an exciting project for Wood River and the entire Metro East,” said Mark Hinrichs, IMPACT Strategies President. “Hollywood River Studios will create new opportunities for the region while establishing a destination for film and television production. We’re proud to be part of the team bringing this vision to reality.”

The Hollywood River Studios project adds another unique development to IMPACT Strategies’ diverse portfolio of projects throughout the region.
