IMPACT Strategies joined Home Turf Sports Complex ownership, community leaders and project partners in early July to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new indoor athletic facility designed to provide year-round training, competition and community opportunities for athletes throughout the Metro East.
Located at 5 Marxer Place in Fairview Heights, the 45,000-square-foot sports complex will serve as a premier destination for baseball and softball while also accommodating soccer, football, lacrosse and other turf sports. IMPACT Strategies is serving as the construction manager for the project, which is expected to open in early 2027.
The state-of-the-art facility will feature a 195-by-135-foot indoor turf with an MLB-sized infield, six full-length batting cages, an oversized “Performance Cage” with tech space designed for player development, two golf simulators. The flexible design will allow the complex to host practices, tournaments, training programs and community events throughout the year.
Founded by five local families with a shared passion for youth sports, Home Turf Sports Complex was created to provide athletes of all ages with a place to train, compete and grow while fostering a welcoming environment for families and the surrounding community.
