October 9, 2026 in Press Releases, Special, Company News

IMPACT Strategies, Inc., is proud to announce that the company and its team members have received three national recognitions from the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), highlighting IMPACT’s commitment to leadership, professional development, community involvement and a strong culture of safety.

The honors include the Member Strong Recognition Award, the 2026 Future Leader of the Year Award both presented to IMPACT’s Amber Trout, and the 2026 Safety Excellence Award in the General Contractor category presented to IMPACT Strategies.

“These recognitions are a reflection of the people who make IMPACT what it is,” said Mark Hinrichs, President of IMPACT Strategies. “Our commitment to developing leaders, supporting our industry and making safety a fundamental part of how we work is something our entire team takes seriously. We are proud to see that commitment recognized on a national level.”

NAWIC’s Member Strong Recognition Award is a national honor presented to up to 20 NAWIC members who have made a meaningful impact on the association and the construction industry through leadership, mentorship and advocacy. Amber Trout of IMPACT Strategies was among those recognized nationally for their contributions.

IMPACT’s Amber Trout was also named the 2026 national recipient of NAWIC’s Future Leader of the Year Award, recognizing her exceptional involvement, emerging leadership and commitment to advancing NAWIC and the construction industry.

The award recognizes one outstanding NAWIC member within her first two years of membership. Selection considerations included participation, initiative, contributions to the member’s local chapter and dedication to professional growth. Trout’s recognition represents the impact that emerging leaders can have both within their organizations and across the construction industry.

“I am incredibly honored to receive this recognition from NAWIC,” said Trout. “Being involved with NAWIC has given me the opportunity to learn, grow and connect with so many incredible women in construction. I’m grateful for the people who have encouraged me along the way and excited to continue finding ways to give back to the organization and our industry.”

IMPACT Strategies was named the 2026 national winner of NAWIC’s Safety Excellence Award in the General Contractor category, recognizing the company’s commitment to making safety an integral part of its company culture.

NAWIC’s Safety Excellence Award recognizes member companies that have established exemplary safety and health programs. Entries are evaluated based on leadership commitment, documented safety practices, employee training and engagement, measurable safety performance and continued innovation. For IMPACT, safety extends beyond policies and procedures. The company emphasizes ongoing employee education, field engagement and proactive risk management to ensure its team members have the knowledge and resources necessary to work safely every day.

“Safety has always been a core value at IMPACT,” said Scott Manning, Director of Operations at IMPACT Strategies “Our goal is not simply to meet safety requirements, but to create an environment where every employee understands that safety is part of their responsibility and that everyone goes home safe every day. This award belongs to the entire IMPACT team and the commitment they demonstrate every day in the field and in the office.”

The three national recognitions underscore IMPACT Strategies’ continued investment in its people and its industry — from developing the next generation of construction leaders to supporting professional organizations and maintaining a culture where safety remains a priority.
