Granite City Green - Phase II
A public housing project in Granite City that had exceeded its useful life now stands as a shining example of one of the area’s top green communities. Following a competitive bidding process, IMPACT Strategies was selected to oversee construction of this uniquely designed sustainable and energy efficient community.
The development incorporates the use of solar panels, brick unit paver sidewalks and paving, and bio-retention rain gardens in an effort to maximize the community’s positive environmental impact and performance. As the construction-management firm for Phase II of the project, IMPACT Strategies led the development of six buildings containing twenty new units.
