Centreville Health Center

Every project has its own set of challenges and the SIHF Mother and Child Center was certainly no different. The project put IMPACT crews to task with six phases of construction happening within a tight eight-month schedule, all while keeping the center operational so it could continue to serve the community throughout the renovation. Additionally, crews had to be extremely diligent when it came to controlling construction debris and dust to ensure the facility remained sterile and clean for ongoing medical operations.

Approximately 24,000 square feet was renovated, effecting five departments, including pediatrics, pediatric behavioral health, adult medicine, obstetrics and dental. Renovated spaces also included exam rooms, labs, blood draw stations, nurses’ stations, and new service offerings.
